take deep breaths, count to ten, go for a walk or a run...hit a pillow or if you really dont know anymore you can talk to a counselor or a physciatrist or whatever it could also be just a stage...many guys go through this kind of stuff just dont hurt yourself

Well, I don't know you very well and to answer this question correctly I probably have to know you better. But from the sounds of it, you may have some bottled up emotions that you need to let out. Try and find someone to talk to if you need to let anything out... whether it's frustrations with something or someone, or just any kind of problem. You can always talk to me about anything if you need someone. Also, I don't know if this is your case, but there is a personality disorder called borderline personality. People with this disorder get easily frustrated and irritated and tend to have anger problems. I'm not saying you have this but it is a possibility. If this anger problem keeps occurring you may want to talk to your parents about it or seek some kind of help. But for now, just make sure to talk to someone about anything that's bothering you. I hope my advice helps... have any other questions or need anything else just let me know!!

Next time you get mad, take a good look at what you are mad at. You can meditate on your anger, and focus solely on what made you so angry. Take all this energy and put it into something positive, such as cleaning furiously for a while, or studying or something. This should work, and if not, you can always see your doctor or a counselor.

It seems like you need to get yourself someone to talk to. Go see a school counsellor, or if you trust your parents enough, maybe mention something to them. I don't really know of any methods to use, I just think you should talk to someone who professionally deals with this kind of thing before you really hurt someone you care about.

I, too, have had anger problems - I've blacked out with rage like 3 times, 2 in high school, the last the year after.

What I can remember about blacking out is that I made a conscious decision to do so - I knew I was losing it, and I embraced it, because it felt good. After hurting 2 people who I truly loved and cared about, and ruining a relationship, I learned that this is something I don't want to embrace, no matter how good it feels at the moment.

If you don't black out and are just full of rage, in the middle of it, learn to think. Just stop and think. Walk away if you have to in order to do so. Let your friends know ahead of time that's why you'll be walking away. When you get angry, and you are able to stopp and think, focus your thoughts on relaxing and breathing. THEN think about the problem, without losing your focus on staying calm.

Try seeing things from a logical viewpoint, or from a 3rd person viewpoint. "How does this situation/issue/whatever look to someone who isn't either me or the person I'm mad at?" You don't have to understand or even be able to see it from the other person's (the person you're mad at) point of view, just try to see it from the point of view where you are removed from the situation.

Also, talk to people who know, trust, respect, and look up to. If you can talk to your parents about it (regardless of your age), that's a good first step (or second, or third, or...). If you have a pastor or spiritual leader, going to him/her would be a good idea.

And know that anger is not an emotion - it is a manifestation of the inability to cope with an emotion, whether that emotion is fear, sadness, depression, or whatever. And it does not control you unless you let it.
