the first time i sang at a talent show, i choked (literally) at the end because i was getting sick. you should just try singing in front of your parents first... start slowly. try singing for more and more people at a time. im sure that would help you. even if you just start singing randomly in a mall. (i did that once) if you still feel nervous, shut your eyes when you get onstage. not only does it block out who is out there, it looks professional. trust me on this, singing is my life.

its always hard and nervus the first few times you sing infront of a crowd. I auditioned for mine but got nervus, they said i had a great voice ect. So just try to do your best. If you mess up you'll always have another chance next year.
good luck!

Don't be nervous! I bet you can sing really good! If I were you...when you get up on stage, just picture everyone in their underwear. LOL! It might work for you! I hope I helped! Good luck at the talent show too, ours was today! =)

I get SOOOOOO nervous when I have to talk in class, so I can imagine how you feel. Just recently I had to do a speech for my exam in english, and surprisingly, I wasn't nervous. I just imagined that I was talking to my friends. Just pretend that you're singing in front of your friend again, and just ignore the people that are there. If people try to make you nervous or whatever just ignore them.. who cares what those idiots think, right?

Anyway,
Hope I helped =)

stage frights normal...friends are always easier to do anything to because you know them and wont get embrassed or anything by them...same thing with me...you should just practice in front of a mirror and in front of people who arent really close in your life so you will get comfortable with different faces. at the talent show try to focus on a friend and pretend like your friend is the only person in the room...

good luckk and much lovee

I'm a singer too and i have the same problem, what i do i focus in on one thing like a title on the floor but acsionally i have to look at something else or they are like what is wrong with her? lol or you could have your friend move around in the back of the room and just follow her where every she goes. or you could just sign with your eyes closed and act like you can feel the music! lol.

hope i helped! and if you need anymore advice just inbox me!

Since you don't have a problem singing in front of one person, try increasing the number to three or four. Gradually increase the number of people [if possible] until you have quite a few. If there's any open mics in your area try singing at one of those. They're usually held in small restaurants or coffeehouses.

Everyone gets butterflies on their first time, unless they just don't care. There's the saying "Imagine the audience in their underwear" But yeah, I never used it. Just go with the flow and imagine that only your friend was watching. And take comfort in the fact that they aren't as good as you. :)
