color guard
ok so i am a guy and i signed up well tried out is more like the word for colorgaurd this sport that were wel lyou twirl guns wood of course and flags and show school spirit. and the great thing is i made it but my friends and well a lot of people disagree with my desicion. i mean i know i shouldn't care what they say and that god is here and i am doing it for him i want to get these people t know him and show others that this activity is not a joke or it is "gay" in there words. and i mean it hurts because i get made fun of but i live with it and give it all to god. but i still need prayer. so if you would pray for me that i may get through this rough time and show others that i can make a diffrence. and i mean i just ned advice and support on like how can i deal with this stress i mean i give it to god of course but how can i make it so when hurtfull words come to me such as "dude you'r a looser for doing that, coorgaurd is so gay and dumb only stupid kids do that" i mean it hurts do you have any verses i can look up and how to deal with this stress and what not. And pleas please please pray for me. on this situation

One of my best friends is a guy and he's in color guard. People don't understand it and think the same thing sometimes, but he has some awesome friends in guard and he enjoys himself. You may not enjoy it as much as he does but it could lead you to great times, or a better decision. Don't worry about what other people think if you really want to do it. Give it to God.

Listen I've got to give you an Incredible amount of Credit, Being a Fellow Christian. You have put God Before Critisiscm and Your Friends. God is Taking Care of you and he knows what you are doing and he has some amazing things planned for you. Things May be hard at first and You should Pray For patience and Pray For your Friends becaus they are the ones who are missing out on Gods Good Word. Another thing to would be to is to pull them aside and say listen i dont have a problem if you choose not to beleive what i beleive in But i Do not appreciate you Insulting me and Critiscizing me for what i beleive in So i would appreciate it if you could please Stop. You can talk to me if you need some help because i know how stressful things can be and how nice it is to have someone to talk to

ok first of all i was in colorguard for the first half of the school year and then i quit because it was more than i could handle....i met guys on other colorguards that WERE NOT GAY...being a guy and on colorguard is fine..so dont worry....i think it is a good idea to give it all to god!as ill like to think of it color*GUARD* your heart for God...... God is amazing and is indescribeable!

First off, I would like to say that I think that is really cool.
As for your classmates, they make think it's stupid now, but in a few years they'll be sorry. While they're telling their kids boring stuff like, "...and I was on the football team...," their children may be impressed at first, but it's nothing they can brag about in school. You, on the other hand, will have original stories to tell. Something to make your family stand out.
If that's not a good enough reason, this is: You'll regret it if you don't. You'll look back on what you could have done and feel regret for maybe the rest of your life. It's not worth making your life stink to make some stupid kids happy. They could be jealous.

Ok the best i got for you. just forget those kids. You said it yourself your doing it for god and you already know that you shouldn't let what they say bother you. All through life kids are made fun of and theres nothing anyone can do to stop everyone from doing it. Just laugh back at them and say well im sorry you feel that way --- with there name lol. Don't care what other people think about you. You can be who you want to be without them. I know it hurts. There is a thing called the 'lobster effect'. If you put a bunch of lobsters into a pot and start to boil the water, the lobsters obviously want to get out. But when one tries to climb out, the others pull it back down in the water. In other words, don't give up because there will always be idiots who don't want anyone to exeed more than them but are afraid to change. Maybe if you do this color guard thing, you will either make it popular or get better friends.
