Mackenzie answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 10:43 pm: You have many options heRe: It's well known that RegulaR physical activity helps Reduce the cRamping in some women, so theRe's an idea. You could also tRy taking a waRm bath and using aRomatheRapy. Applying a heating pad on youR loweR abdomen oR back should do wondeRs. If you don't have a heating pad, you can make one by simply filling a sock with Rice and heating it in the micRowave foR a few minutes [must sound silly, but if the cRamps get bad enough, it just might be woRth it]. Also, many women staRt taking pills aRound the clock fRom the time the cycle staRts, until it ends. Any pain killeR will do, but I Reccommend IbupRofen, ExtRa StRength Advil oR Midol -- it's also best to take medication will a meal, that way the Risk of stomach discomfoRt is slimmed. Feel betteR; hope I helped!! :D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]

rainbowcherrie answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 11:05 am: Have a warm bath or shower (preferably a bath) then take some painkillers, paramol is good, and put a hot water bottle on your stomach. If you can't do that then try stretching, it sounds weird but it actually helps. Light excercise has the same effect. [ rainbowcherrie's advice column | Ask rainbowcherrie A Question ]
sweetxcatastrophe answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 10:44 am: midol.
or perscription. its NOT NORMAL to have killer cramps.. minor ones are but servere ones need to see the doctor....
also ... you know that part on your back where it turns into your hips and there are little dimple things?? .. rub & massage those .... it releases endorphines(sp?) ... and soothes some of the pain a little. [ sweetxcatastrophe's advice column | Ask sweetxcatastrophe A Question ]
vermillion26 answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 9:34 am: midol seems to work well for me. a lot of girls use advil or ibuprofen. heat helps, so a hot water bottle or heating pad. i know the last thing you want to do is move around, but just walking around the room seems to help. taking a hot shower helps. if its really bad eating might make your barf, it does for me. anyway, i hope you get the cramps under control, they suck, i know.
lilaquidas18 answered Wednesday June 15 2005, 9:21 am: I get the same way and i just hate it so much what I do is I take Ibuprofen and get a heating pad and lay down on the coach or you can get a nice hot shower but I always curl up and a little ball and it helps me a little bit..
