okay this weekend I'm meeting my boyfriend's ENTIRE family at his sister's graduation party, and they're the REALLY formal type who like kiss you on the cheek and stuff. well you know how when girls kiss in the cheek? do you move your head to the left or the right? cause every time i do that i always kiss the wrong side and we always bump and its so embarrassing haha...
what other ways can i make a good impression?

I believe diffeRent people of diffeRent Nationalities kiss diffeRent ways, so if you'Re unshoRe, I would HIGHLY Recommend asking HIM that question.

-- Make eye contact.
-- When meeting someone, make shoRe to be the fiRst to extend the hand shake. [think of how YOU feel when someone does that to YOU, ya know? I don't know about YOU.. but it makes me think VERY highly of them]

-- Tell them it's "nice to meet them", and it's been "nice meeting them"

If you wanna impress his family be well mannered. And use all your table manners lol the things your parents teach you! Um the kissing part I know for a fact well im half mexican and my father when his mother kisses she always kisses my Left cheek, So therefor its your Left Cheek! And what always helps is if you can make them laugh and stuff thats always good because they will know your comfortable to be around them. First time my bf met my mom he was like throwing gummy bears at her in the movie theater it was funny but she likes em more because hes not scared to be himself. Just be very proper dress nice and say Please,May I, And Thank You!!

well theres no right or wrong side really, you just go whichever way and put your cheeck on theirs. (all the get togethers i go to do this, im like a pro now) its just how i was taught. hey what do you know...my dad just came up and i went left so yeah go left. be polite, say the food was delicious meaning dont pick out things, finish at least half of what you get. no pdas in front of the parents sit like a lady especially if you wear a skirt then the little things like dont chew with your mouth open. thats basically all you need to know. <3

hey! Some other ways to make a good impression is to talk to them about stuff they like to talk about, not stuff that will bore them out of their minds. Be polite and respectful and that should make a good impression on them. If you aren't mean or bossy, they will love you to death!

say thank you a lot...and when you kiss on the cheek or watevr just let them move first and then either sit still or move the opposite way.dress nice, don't put on too much makeup, offer to do things like the dishes and if they say u can go off with your boyfriend and do whatever always ask if they need help first, and if not expet the offer. hoPe I hElPed!! good luck :D

Humm it really depends on the person, there is no real way to do it. But one tip is to what till the person leans in, then decide which way they are going.
When you go there to make a good impression, make sure your not too shy but not trying to grab the spot light. Keep your manners up when your eating dinner. When your done eating place your fork, knife and spoon beside each other on your plate quitely. When making conversation put your knife and for down to talk. Oh and don't chew with your mouth open but you must already know that one.
and most of all relax and have fun, people will see right through you if you try too hard.
