I'm supposed to be going to the gyn (women's doctor) in a few months, and I was wondering, when they stick their fingers inside you to examine you, does that hurt badly, or what? Do they loosen you up or what..?

Man... it's okay. Honestly! I just had my first appointment about a week ago and it was NOTHING near what I thought it would be. My gyno was REALLY REALLY nice and I wasn't uncomfortable AT ALL! I got my belly button done! I was really scared of getting it done, too. But, it only hurts for a second and then it doesn't really bother you too much. You have to make sure that you can take care of it. It is sore, but after about a week, it doesn't hurt too bad. HOpe I helped

well im 14 and my parents got divorced a few years ago and my dad married this person i hate! she is seriously like the wicked step mother and it blows. Okay, so my boyfriend's mom is moving away soon, and she and I are the same size, so she's been packing up a couple of boxes of clothes to give me. I appreciate it, 'cause she has awesome style and we have similar tastes, but I feel like I should give her something in return. At least something to remember me by.
I love her like a second mom and I'm gonna miss her like crazy.
What do you guys think I should give her? I can knit, but somehow I doubt she'll want a scarf in Florida, lol.

Yeah! Knit her something girl. It's definately something memorable. Maybe put some of the ideas together and knit her a pillow with a place to put a picture and put one of you and her in it. is it normal to get a cold in the summer? because i think i have one i have a really soar throat and my nose is sooo stuffy! also what can i do to help get my nose unstuffed?
Of Course it's normal! I have just gotten over a cold, it could be change of humidity or it could be allergy or sinuses. When your sinuses drain, it can cause your throat to hurt. Try some throat losengers or just blow your nose constantly. Whenver I run, my nose gets really runny, so I can blow it. Hope it works... thanks Sahara

Anyways does anyone know any really really good books, and authors for when i go to the library next time? ok im 15 and sometimes i feel like my boyfriend wants me to do more than just making out. But i dont think im ready and i dont want to yet. First off let me start by telling you that it doesn't matter if you two were together for four years, if you aren't ready (which you honestly should be by then), then don't do it! You dont' want to regret doing things to only make him happy because if he doesn't understand that you aren't ready, then he should be ditched right then and right there. Six months is an average time for people to start becoming intimate, if they are comfortable with eachother. Give or take a year because I know people that have did stuff before they even started dating and I know people that have been together for a year and haven't did anything excpet kiss. Then, there is that one couple I know of that has been together for about a year and a half and STILL haven't kissed. But, it's cool because they are going at their own rate. well this might be long so sorry in advance.. well me and my bf have been together since feb. of 2004 and things seem to have been goin perfect until.. this summer.. see hes involved in so many things with basketball camps and helping out.. and im involved in cheerleading.. and then there are vacations and stuff like that so what im gettin to is there is a long gap of bein able to see each other. this is wierd bc we r used to seeing each other everyday [durin school] and doin things on the weekends. last summer wasnt the best for us either.. and i dont want this summer to end like that did.. so wut im tryin to say is there any advice anyone could give me on ways to see him more. what to do when i see him to make it u know "special" since there is that long gap between seein each other. i just dont want this relationship to be over bc the lack of seeing each other. Okay.. first of all honey, if you want to make it work. Believe me, you don't need anybody's help. But, since you asked for it, I decided to help you, b/c I'm pretty much going through the same thing. My boyfriend just graduated this year and he's working in Alabama this week, Virginia last week and he only gets to come home on the weekends, and sometimes not at all. I have cheerleading and soccer practice during the whole week anyways, but we still find time to talk on the phone with eachother. Just when I'm really thinking about him, I call him on his cell just to tell him that I love him. Try that, call your man at random times, just to let him know that your thinking about him. Makes him feel special. Also, maybe he could pick you up from cheerleading or whatever your doing this weekend. And if it's possible, invite him to come along. Maybe when you two are together, you should just do that, stay together, as long as you can. Don't worry about going out, maybe rent some movies and snuggle together. Tell him how much you love him and that your really going to miss him while he is gone. When my boyfriend is away, like right now, everday at the end of the day, I write him a letter. Even though we talk on the phone every night for an hour or so, I might forget something. So, a letter let's him know what I'm thinking about and that I'm thinking about him. Good Luck... Alright well my friend gave me this stuff to try because I really want a tan but im really pale. Well she kinda didnt tell me the full directions.. she told me to rub it in and stuff.. and then wait 5 mins.. and that the tan would show up in 5 mins.. well she was so wrong and she didnt tell me it takes a few hours for it to start showin up.. so i got home na dim putten some on.. and i dont look tanner.. so i wait like 15 mins still dont.. so i put some on and more and more ect. well i wake up and my legs are really dark and sorta orange!! how do I get it off!?
