It is perfectly normal, mine showed a diffrence in about 3.5 months! Or it may kick in later, it ranges on how they are aligned! So dont worry, if it doesnt work they will make it :P
Hope I Helped!

You shouldn't notice any difference until you take them off. The metal clutters your mouth and it is hard to see. There should be a differnce once you have taken them of so don't worry.
Hope I could help!

Even if you can't see a difference, they are working. Your orthodontist (or dentist) will notice a difference. I've have had my braces on for almost a year and it doesn't look different, but it is.

You will notice the difference at the end. Besides, isn't it hard to tell with all the metal in the way? :-)

You may not really notice the difference, but they ARE working. I have had them for quite a while, and i haven't ever noticed a difference, but now that i look back on what they used to be like, i realize they really did work lyl lexi

i've had braces, all though it wasn't long, and i never really noticed a change personally, it wasn't until the other day (now that i have a retainer) when my friend said, "whoa- your teeth are freakishly straight now!" that i realized the difference form before.
my point is, you wont really notice a difference
until you are finished with them and you look at your teeth form before

It depends, if they looked ok to begin with, I doubt you'll see too much of a difference.

Well, if your teeth weren't that messed up to begin with, chanced are they wont move that fast. My teeth when I got braces were absolutly HORRIBLE, so I noticed changes in the first few weeks. Everyone's teeth move differently. If your ortho doesn't notice a change anytime soon he might change the bar to a stronger bar to help the process of your teeth shifting. Or, he might put you on rubberbands. Don't worry, braces are NOT a waste.

most likely it's just that you can't tell a difference because there are braces on your teeth. when i look in the mirror i can't tell that my teeth have changed at all but when my orthodontist shows me the x-rays it's obvious. just don't worry about it. if you really are worried, ask the orthodontist next time you go.
