ok everyone. i need help on some outfits. i just got rid of 3/4 of my clothes. i don't know what kind of "in style" clothes i should get for the summer. i need some help.

bright colours! flowy skirts, at the knee or just above, a-line minis. comfy, light tshirts; longer tank tops. capris with a large bottom hem; medium-wash denim. whatever you're most comfortable with!

I agree pretty much w/ everybody else. Preppy is good. Here is what I think though:
Shoes-Flip Flops (thong style). I'd get a few plain colored ones from Old Navy because those are cute and go with basically anything. I'd get them in colors that you wear a lot of. Most of my shirts are pink or blue so I'd buy pink or blue flip flops.
Skirts-Mini's are a must. If they are longer than your finger tips..then they are..ermm..not right. lol. What is in this summer is to wear bright colored fabric skirts (you can get those basically anywhere) with a cute matching halter top. I got two sets of matching halters and skirts for only $40 at Kohls.
Caprees-Caprees with the bottoms folded up are really in style this summer.

get things with lots or bright colors...get tube tops and cute mini skirts! get puka shells for necklaces and a straw cowboy hat hehe....get cute halter tops and jeans that have a cool design to them. platfor sandlas are ALWAYS a must!! hehe

Well it depends on what kind of style you LIKE. Like if you're into the country music stuff, get a cowboy hat, boots, and some of them fringy shirts. But if you like the goth scene, get some black stuff, fishnets, and plastic bracelets. Or just get a whole bunch of stuff and mix and match. Most importantly, you should feel good. If you feel good, you will look good. Don't follow trends, set them. Be yourself. And all that wonderful stuff...what I'm trying to say is that if you focus too much on being in style you will become a boring copycat clone person...nobody wants that. So just get clothes you like. =)

Go preppy. Well everyone is saying layering and they are right. Thats in right now and its totally cute. You can also wear a colar shirt and wear a normal cute tee over. Thats popular too. Wear eather short but skirts are really cute and all in style. ♥

I love to layer it's great for the summer.
flowing skirts and dresses are also nice for the summer. Look in magazines and fine what kind of style you like and then go to stores and look for cheeper clothes that look like what you saw.
if your friend doesn't mind bring them along for a second opinion.

Well wite beaters and stuff and layering is alays cute ((get diff color wite beaters and layer them)) sun dresses, short skirts, board shorts, vintage look.. anything you like will work too!!
