*ashlee* answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 12:45 am: ok, they make masks for things like this. theyre like a gel and you put them in the freezer so that while your getting ready in the morning you can wear the mask (it has eye holes made into it) and the swelling/poofiness will be a lot better. but it sounds to me like maybe your having some kind of allergic reaction to something. you need to find out what your allergic to and do some research because it could be anything from the animals in your house, to the make of your pillow. so i hope that helps, i always hate when i wake up like that it just starts my day off on the wrong foot ya know? Michele answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 9:23 pm: It could be from too much salt in your diet. or it could be allergies. If you have a feather pillow, it could be the pillow, heck even if you have a foam pillow, it could be the pillow. Or if you sleep by an open window, it could be pollen, or if you have a pet, and the pet sleeps with you, or sleeps on your pillow when you are not home. My cats do that, I have to keep my bedroom door closed at all times.
It definitly sounds like an allergic reaction, you have to find what you are allergic to.
Karen answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 8:32 pm: Rinsing your face with cold water or putting two large spoons into your fridge for a while and then putting them over your eyes will reduce the puffiness of your eyes. Both of these methods work for me if I wake up too early. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
HeathaAa answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 8:25 pm: put a cold washcloth on them when u wake up, or freeze a spoon & put it on them! concealer underneath them will also hide the puffiness. [ HeathaAa's advice column | Ask HeathaAa A Question ]
iSpEaKsPaNiSh answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 8:14 pm: if you put tea bags on your eyes that is supposed to help. you can also get one of those masks that you can freeze and put it on in the morning while you are getting ready..you know the ones with eye holes in them. there is also gel you can buy to put on your eyes that is supposed to help that. i know principal's secret makes some..but so does everyone else probably. good luck!
