moSh_x_oN_x_69 answered Sunday May 22 2005, 7:48 pm: Things like this can be creepy. The same thing happens with me. Im in 7th grade and im 12. People think i`m 15 and 16. If the older guys are creeping you out then just stay away from those guys or make sure they know your age before they really start liking you. Look around you (and those in your grade), and see what's different from you and them. Just try to fit in, and live the life on a 13-year-old, because being in grade 10/11, isn't all that great. xxBrOkEnxx answered Saturday May 21 2005, 2:18 pm: its probably because you matured faster not just physically but mentally. but im not sure what you look like. did you change something a montha ago like put on make-up or your clothing? if so, that might be why, because you look older [ xxBrOkEnxx's advice column | Ask xxBrOkEnxx A Question ]

sublime_burritos answered Saturday May 21 2005, 2:00 pm: well...i can't say i know how you feel because i'm almost 16 and i'm still constantly offered kid's menu's at restaurants. but, i can tell you this, if you're with friends who all look like your real age...you probably won't be mistaken for being much older, and if you're with your family you most likely won't be hit on...so just go with power in numbers and it should happen a lot less. other than that, maybe less makeup, if that's affecting how old you look. if all else fails, just tell off all the pervs that hit on you, and remember that eventually you'll be as old as you look, and then it'll only be a good thing that everyone wants you! <3 [ sublime_burritos's advice column | Ask sublime_burritos A Question ]
some_girl answered Saturday May 21 2005, 1:41 pm: hey same thing happens to me. I'm 14 and I've passed for 20. It's a compliment at times and other times its just annoying. I guess it's something your just going to live with. [ some_girl's advice column | Ask some_girl A Question ]
Karen answered Saturday May 21 2005, 1:26 pm: It is a good thing to have guys think you're older than you are. It happens to me also; I'm 14 years old but guys think I'm around 16-18 years old so it's nothing to be freaked out about. At least it's better than having them say you look younger, right?
