S_C answered Sunday May 8 2005, 10:42 pm: Well when I just fractured mine I could bend it a little, but I couldn't bend it enough to touch my hand (sorry if it doesn't make sense) my finger around the knuckle was all black and blue, and it had a purplish tint to it. It'll hurt quite a bit.
That's what happened to me when I fractured my middle finger. Also it was super difficult for me to type and I had to type really slowly. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]

okimreallydumb answered Sunday May 8 2005, 9:35 pm: it would probably be swollen and part of it will be purple and bruised looking over when its broken or fractured. otherwise you probably just jammed it, it should get better in a couple weeks.
