Karen answered Saturday May 7 2005, 11:07 am: Everyone has looks for different qualities in a columnist when they want to make them as their favorite columnist. When I want to add someone as my favorite columnist, I look for the columnist's advice and how they tell it and such and their overall column appearance. If they give bad and rude advice and type like a moron, I will never add them. I also look to see if they update every day or a few times a week. You don't want to add someone who never updates. If I know them or talk to them, I'll add them. I could go on and on with this but it's all about what you look for when making someone your favorite columnist. MummuM answered Friday May 6 2005, 10:34 pm: It's really important to have people that are worth checking out. Because the people that go on your page, mostly always look at the people on your favorite columnist. Look for people that have awesome advice, good feedback/rating. This will show that they truly are a great advice columnist. Also look for people who update. You don't want someone being on your favorites that never update. Their personalty is always good. Also, the colors of their column, what they write about themselfs, how they present their page, etc. But, this is really up to you and who you think should be on your favorite columnist or not.

S_C answered Friday May 6 2005, 9:59 pm: The quality of their advice, and their personality. It's all in your opinion. When I say quality of their advice I don't mean rating, the only way you have a perfect 5 is if you tell everyone what they want to hear.
There are some people that give "rude" advice that I have as a favorite. Just because it's not all that rude, and it's mostly funny and it makes me smile. But I also (though I haven't checked in a while) delete my favorite columnists if they haven't updated within a while (except I have a friend who hasn't updated in a while but I still have her as a fave)
It's all up to you though. What do YOU think makes someone "worthy" of being a favorite? [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
