For some particular jobs that you apply for, you may need to take a drug test. It just depends on the job you apply for.

It depends what job you are going for. If it is a well-known company then maybe-yes.
If not then I shouldn't worry but you have rights so you can ask them. Quite often companies do random drug tests where they tell you when you start working that they to random tests. The test could be that afternoon or a week later.

I don't know about NY in particular, but you do in most places nowadays. Sorta depends on the job really. Construction work and factory jobs are definate yesses. :)

Well it all depends on what job you are getting. Usually you wont need one but if its something serious then probablly yes. x0
