Ok heres the problem. When im out with my friends i tend to sweat a lot more than i do when i'm just sitting at my house. Is this because im nervous? I obviously use deodorant so i dont have to care about the smell but the problem is it always leaves sweat marks like you know it goes through your shirt and you can see it. I tried putting tissues under my shirt to stop it from being noticable but it did nothing! Please help!!!!!!

I Reccommend using an anti-peRspiRant deodoRant, followed by RegulaR baby powdeR. The anti-peRspiRant of couRse helps to Reduce sweating, oR at least is said to, but in ouR case... neveR does. Then with the assistance of applying baby powdeR Right oveR the deodoRant, the poRes undeR youR aRm close, theRefoRe, moRe oR less tRapping the sweat in, so to speak. Honestly, this almost ALWAYS woRks foR me, but theRe *ARE* days when it's simply not good enough, and that can be a pain in the ass, so I usually make a point of caRRying some soRt of jacket. HeaRing that, theRe's this pRoduct people aRe talking about on this site, and even adveRtised on television called CeRtainDRi. Now, they say it can be puRchased at Wal-gReens, RiteAid, CVS, and WalmaRt, howeveR, EVERY SINLE TIME I've been to the stoRe looking foR it, I neveR seen it on the shelves. NatuRally, this leads me to ask an employee wheRe I can find it, and they *always* tell me they've neveR heaRd of it, and they do not caRRy the pRoduct... which just leaves you speechless and with a feeling of, 'what now?'. But whateveR you decide to do, goodluck fRom someone who knows EXACTLY what you'Re going thRough!! Hopefully I've been of some help; know that you can always come back to me if you need anotheR opinion. =D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
BeFABULOUSxo answered Monday April 25 2005, 4:09 pm: Been there! You MIGHT have what I have. It is called hyperhydrosis. Hyperhydrosis means that you have overactive sweatglands. Go to your dermatologist and he might prescribe you something called Aluminum Chloride. It's awesome. I used to use but I moved onto a heavier thing. Its a pill that dried out your whole body. It doesnt hurt or anything. Your mouth just gets dry in the morning lol. But if it's not that, Ban and Certain Dry work good for most. Good luck. Anymore questions? Karen answered Monday April 25 2005, 2:55 pm: Being nervous really doesn't have anything to do with this. You should try buying and using Certain Dri. It costs less than $10 and when you use it, it closes up your sweat pores, making you not sweat. You won't have any sweat marks and this deoderant is basically the strongest over the counter anti-perspirant deoderant and it works great. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
