Maybe you could find out what his favorite band is and *lets say if he really liked Nirvana* You could get a heart shaped box and put your picture on it. and on the outside you could write *I've been locked inside your heart shaped Box for weeks...* those are lyrics from one of Nirvana's songs, and its just sweet and creative. You could do something to that effect. Hope I helped you. <333s

FoR the stoRe bought gift, if you do not alReady have one in mind, tRy keepin' it simple. SpRing foR a cute wRist watch, some posteRs, a leatheR jacket, nice cologne, a gift caRd, take him out to dinneR, a DVD, if he dRives... definitely go foR a *GAS CARD*. Those aRe pRicey, but you also neveR mentioned youR age, which kind of gives me nothing to go on heRe. And if you wanna get cReative, how 'bout you just go to the paRk?? BRing a blanket and some music! And pack a picnic lunch, which doesn't have to be difficult : tuRkey sandwiches on slice bRead, gRapes, pRetzels, twinkies etc. And make shoRe you bRing a cRap load of bRead to feed the duckies!! -OR- anotheR suggestion... MAKE him something to eat, if you'Re up to the challenge. You could tRy stuffed chicken bReasts with potatoes of some soRt with a fResh gaRden salad and sundaes foR desseRt! And to be cute, you could always make him a posteR -- use maRkeRs, photogRaphs, quotes and so on. Bottom line, it's the thought that counts, and whateveR you do I'm shoRe he'll love!! Just be cReative and have fun!! Hope I helped!! Best wishes!!

You could buy him a CD or give him a gift certificat to places he goes to. Take him out for some food. Maybe make him a card or something cute that you think he might like. Try to make a clay figure of him if your good at that lol. Im not sure if i could.. :P
Um.. if he likes cars maybe give him a kool kit where he can build a modeling car.

theres probably WAY more but those are a few i know of lol.
good luck and hope i helped! :)

If you want it to be creative and original, think of something on your own instead of using other people's ideas.

But if you must, I'll give you two creations I made for my boyfriend, hopefully you can brainstorm something off of that and adjust it to make it an idea of your own.

1. I made a "dry" snowglobe for my boyfriend for Christmas. What you do is you get one of those round, circular, glass fishbowl things (can find it at Wal-mart, Michaels, Hobby Lobby). You get a picture of the two of you and glue it onto a piece of posterboard that is cut into a circle to snugly fit inside the glass bowl. Insert the picture and hot glue it onto the opening of the bowl to make sure it is secure and not loose. Next you get a bunch of fake flower petals (any color or flower you prefer, make sure you get small flower petals) and strip them off of the fake stem. Stuff maybe a good handful into the bowl. Now using a hot glue gun, glue and attach the bowl onto a blank cd. You can cover any glue spots with extra flower petals. When you flip it rightside up, you're picture should be upright lying in a flower bed of petals, making a "dry" snowglobe.

2. Another thing I made was a creative plant project for my boyfriend's birthday. You get a small square-shaped flower pot (choose a pretty design, or clear glass will work) and buy some of those river rocks. Get a bamboo plant shaped like a heart (not sure if those are available to you, but I found mine at an asian supermarket) or if you can't find that, get a regular bamboo plant. "Plant" the bamboo into the river rocks. Next you get a metal clothes hanger and cut a good sized piece off of it (should be a straight line). Next, bend the piece of metal in the shape of a candy cane using pliers to bend the short end into a small loop. Spray paint this black and let dry. Next plant the metal cane piece into the pot behind the piece of bamboo. The "cane" part should hang ever so lightly over the plant. Now, get a small picture of the two of you and paste it onto a small piece of posterboard. Using a hole puncher, punch a hole into the top middle of the photo. Using a ribbon, thread it through the picture and into the loop of the metal cane and tie a bow. If desired, write a love note behind the photo from the posterboard piece. Ta-Da! You're done.

Hope this helps.
