i have a mole on my cheek... should i get it removed or keep it? and if i do wanna gte it removed how can i approach my mom with the idea... about 2 years ago i told her i wanted it removed and she said we'll think about it... but im really afraid to ask... any ideas?!?!!? please help!

sarah0308 answered Monday April 18 2005, 11:23 pm: if you really want it gone then you should get it takin off...tell her you think it is time for it to come off...let me tell you somethings ahead of time so you can think about it: this summer i had 2 moles taken off of my neck, and they give you a painful shot, now with it being on your face im not sure if they will give you a shot or not, but if they do it is painful (or it was to me), and the doctor might tell you it will feel like a beesting, but it didnt too me..they'll cover your eyes with a sheet of paper and use a knife thingy and cut it off..and then they put it in a jar and you have to take it to the hospital and you get stitches..then you go back about a week later and they cut the stitches out...this is what they did to me...im not sure if they will do the same thing or not, but hope i helped!

Lol, but anyways if it bothers you that much and you don't like it, then go for it and get it removed. If she said we'll think about it two years ago, chances are, she will say yes now!
