waiting game

Question Posted Saturday April 2 2005, 4:48 am

this boy named jerry is unbeleiveable.. i mean he's claming he has feelings for me but im unsure.. he's in 10th grade and im in 8th next year we will both go to high school its exciting.. well anyways.. his friends complain and write me advice notes asking how they can get their buddy jerry back because he talks n spends his time thinkin all around me (cute huh) well he doesn't want to start a relationship now because we did before but we can never find the time to work it out.. so i don't know if even though i really like jerry i should play the waiting game.. or if i should just go on and find other men.. untill the 9th grade...? thanks for your help

you should keep it low and just be friends with him if he wants you he will get you so i guess you can play the waiting game with him

If you like him you'll both just have to make time for each other. That's just part of any relationship. I wouldn't wait.

It's not a good idea. When you are in your twenties, two or three years will not be such a big differance, but right now, it's a huge differance. A 16 year old guy is going to expect you to do stuff with him that girls his age would do with him. He just wants to use you. Sophmores who go out with kids in middleschool are users. Like he can't have a girl on his maturity level.....so he'll go look at little 8th graders instead. He isn't going to treat you right, he isn't going to show off his 13-14 year old girlfriend to his buddies, it's embarrasing. He may really like you, or he may be using you. I just don't think it's a great idea.

well i would talk to jerry. maybe this time is diffrent.. maybe this time you can work out your problems.. or be willing to make some changes for eachother. and if he still doesn't want to go out now.. then i would move on. and if you still have feelings next year, and your single talk to him. but i wouldn't go out w. another guy if you still have feelings for Jerry. cuz then your not being real, and thats not right. so talk to jerry. and if he says no .. wait till next year, and you think your feelings for him have gone down. start looking for a new man.
i hope i helped.
