Ok I'm 15/f and I had a little peach fuzz..but it was like dark..so starting 7th grade, I shaved it and I liked the results...except for the fact that it grows back a LITTLE thicker and faster...Well the problem is, I'm going on vacation overseas and I need to bring a razor to shave it..except that my parents don't know I do that..I need to shave it or it will grow back gross! Please don't tell me to wax it or buy a kit from a store..and please don't tell me to have a talk with my mom...I don't know what to do!!
Additional info, added Friday April 1 2005, 7:23 pm: oh yeah im also not aloud to shave my legs!! and are we aloud to bring razors on the planes!?! hellpp. Want to answer more questions in the Miscellaneous category? Maybe give some free advice about: Random Weirdos? BeautifulMadness answered Saturday April 2 2005, 2:57 pm: You're not allowed a razor on the plane but one could go in your suitcase. Just not in your hand - luggage.
I'd suggest either taking a small, manual razor and hiding it somewhere your mother won't look (like in a pair of socks in your suitcase, and then taking it out again as soon as you get home) or taking some tweezers and plucking each hair as it grows back...although that could be kinda painful and take forever.
Good luck,

*Edit: Oooh, and I'd recommend hair minimising body lotion or shower gel for your legs. After a few uses it makes your hair (supposedly) thinner and lighter. I wouldn't recommend it for use on your face though, but if you haven't got sensitive skin and you want to try it, put a little bit on your cheek, towards your ear or lower so that your hair will cover any allergic reaction you may have. Just by a cheap pack of disposible ones when you get where you're going. Don't forget to pitch them before the plane ride home again.:) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
ALoathedCrime answered Saturday April 2 2005, 1:14 am: If this was face hair that is the most dumbest thing you could ever do is shave your face. Pretty soon it will be like a mans hair so you NEED to stop shaving it like..now. My sister had that problem, but she got it waxed even though you say you don't want it waxed. I really don't know what to tell you besides you better stop shaving your face before you become the bearded lady- literally. I'm sorry if I seem mean, but someone needs to tell you. Getting it waxed would be your best bet at this point. And you're in 7th or 8th grade and can't shave your legs? You need to shave them anyway, tell your parents that is gross and your not going to have hair like a man on your legs! Shave it anyway, and tell them to screw off. You can't bring razors on planes. I don't think. Especially after 9/11. And that nair stuff is gay. Don't get nair. Nair sucks bad. My sister used it and it didn't work at all and her upper lip was red for ever...So yeah. It is normal for girls to have a bit of facial hair. I have some, but it is not that serious and you can't see it so I don't bother with it. You need to do something because if you don't you're going to look like a man. Once you shave, you can't get your hair to go back any thinner...but if you wax it starts to get thinner and such. Sorry, I don't think I was really much help. Good luck, anyway. [ ALoathedCrime's advice column | Ask ALoathedCrime A Question ]

Just remeber to yuse soup or shaving cream because if you dont you can get rrazor burn..and it will be all red. Bleieve me i see girls have tred al in that area under their nose and its not pretty. Also, you might wanna put some face cream over that area afetr you shave it. Hope i helped! [ feverdancer03's advice column | Ask feverdancer03 A Question ]

Nokomis answered Friday April 1 2005, 8:18 pm: If you cant shave your legs, then you can bring tweezers and pluck (tell them its for your eyebrows or something), or buy a razor on you trip and throw it away before you come back. You Can Not Bring A Razor On A Plane!!! Good luck!
rainbowsend answered Friday April 1 2005, 7:57 pm: What are your parents going to do? Search your luggage or something? You should be able to hide your shaving the same way you would at home... it won't be quite as easy, but it should work.
Just shut and lock the bathroom door in your hotel room or wherever you're staying and shave in the sink.
If the problem is that you're sharing suitcases with your parents (I know my parents used to do this when we went on vacation) Just pack a little cosmetic bag with your toothbrush, soap, make-up, etc., and hide your razor on the bottom or in a different pocket. Or in a pair of socks or something.
Don't pack your razor in your carry-on luggage. It won't make it through security. But you should be able to put it in your suitcase if you're checking it. [ rainbowsend's advice column | Ask rainbowsend A Question ]
