A friend of mine is having trouble finding a date to the prom. She has even asked most of her guy friends. All of them are either taken or dead-set against going. I suggested to her kidnapping and blackmail already so please do not inform me of those options. My question is, what should she do?
aeromonkey answered Thursday March 31 2005, 2:48 pm: Bummer.. i know how it feels. Just... tell her to ask one of the guys a second time and tell them she just wants to go as friends and they'll really have a great time as friends.
Also, she might be having a problem in her approach.. guys really hate girls that go... PICK ME PICK ME! all the time.. i found that out the hard way. (long story) [ aeromonkey's advice column | Ask aeromonkey A Question ]

Has she considered going with a bunch of friends? That way it's fun and you can dance and mingle with a lot of guys without worrying about what your date would think!
xOtWiXi answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 10:31 pm: Okay, well are you going with a date? It's okay not to have a date, even if you do have a date, you guys can go as a group of friends, I know tons of people who do that! You don't need a date to have a great time at prom- mix and mingle and dance with the people that you've had memories with- even if they have dates too! The thing is to just enjoy yourself and have a great time with the people you've been in school with. Hope you and your friend have a great time at prom! ♥ [ xOtWiXi's advice column | Ask xOtWiXi A Question ]
