Ok well I have tried to use a tampon like a million times but everytime I try to put in, It doesn't go in all the way even though it looks like it!! When I walk, it's realllyyy uncomfertable..What am I doing wrong???
itsz_JESS answered Saturday April 30 2005, 9:32 pm: i think you either have the tampon in the wrong hole or you're using the wrong size.. when i first used it i used it in the wrong hole so if you keep trying maybe you can get the whole.. [ itsz_JESS's advice column | Ask itsz_JESS A Question ]
ThursdayCasey answered Tuesday April 5 2005, 1:30 am: First of all, are you reading the directions carefully or did someone just explain to you how to use one? You'd be surprised at how many girls "think" they know how to use a tampon. Be sure to read the directions carefully. If needed, use some lubricant to ease the tampon up into your vagina. Don't feel embarassed to explore your body. Try several times with several types of tampons. You'll get it. Good Luck!! [ ThursdayCasey's advice column | Ask ThursdayCasey A Question ]
Weirdo234 answered Wednesday March 30 2005, 8:16 pm: This happeneds to me too sometimes. It'sd kinda hard to explain but the tampon hits part of your vagina that sort of stick out. You just have to move it around until it goes in all of the way. [ Weirdo234's advice column | Ask Weirdo234 A Question ]
girdy_goo15 answered Wednesday March 30 2005, 7:16 am: well when you go to put it in spread your legs as far as you can. then push it in a little further that you usually do. you might need a different size. it may be embarrassing but ask your mom if you can't get it. ALoathedCrime answered Wednesday March 30 2005, 2:11 am: Okay. You need to push it all the way up. Take the applicator and push it in all the way to the base until your hand is by your vagina but your fingers still have a good grip on the tapon. Push the little thing in and pull it out. If you do this and it is still uncomfortable put your finger in to adjust it... yeah. It sounds gross. But you can always wash your hands. gessyka answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 11:57 pm: You're probably not putting it in all the way. You don't have to worry about putting it up too far, because once you put it in a certain amount, there's like a "barrier" type thing that will stop it from going any further, and you'll know how far it can go, you'll feel it.
mrs_radcliffe answered Monday March 28 2005, 10:44 am: Most people find it hard to use them. I dont use them because they hurt! you have to relax when doing it, get the smallest size and just relax follow the instructions given
greencard answered Sunday March 27 2005, 12:43 pm: okay, use a light absorbency tampon with a plastic applicator. sit on the toilet, with your legs spread if you were going to have sex, and push it in, kinda towards your lower back. make sure you push the tampon in until your fingers touch you before pushing the thing to make the applicator come out. goMango answered Sunday March 27 2005, 12:42 pm: try using the teen ones, (the kind i use) have a really silky smoothish outside thing that helps me put it in. maybe get your mom to help, it mite be imbarrasing at first, but it may just be nessasary, make sure ure relaxed, otherwise it wont go in [ goMango's advice column | Ask goMango A Question ]
Karen answered Sunday March 27 2005, 12:31 pm: This is going to sound really gross but once you put a tampon, take your pointer finger and just push the tampon in. That will make the tampon go in all the way and you won't have that uncomfortable feeling when you walk and such. When you want to put a tampon in, squat down. That will help. You are doing anything wrong because it's normal for this to happen and you will get used to using tampons. Follow the instructions and you will then know that you aren't doing anything wrong. Also, you may be using the wrong tampon size and this may be the reason of why the tampon won't go in all the way.
