burning music CDs When I'm out buying blank CDs to burn on my CD burner, is there any real difference between plain ol' blank CDs and those "music" CDs? I mean, they have "Music" on the labels and they're more expensive, but I was wondering if that was all just marketing or if music CDs were really different.

they are all the same! its just that some look better and are more expensive! its just advertisinq! ii mean if yu want expensive ones then buy those it makes no difference! hOpe ii helped ]
There's basically no difference, I've never heard of a "music" CD performing any better than a regular old blank CD. Frankly, they're the same. ]
There's CD-R and CD-RW
CD-RW can be used over and over and often doesn't play anywhere except for computers.
CD-R is written on once, and then is permanent. It plays anywhere.
By "music CD" maybe they meant CD-R ]
No diffrence whatsoever, they're just made to make idiots buy more cds than they need. ]
There is nothing different about them both. They both do the same thing
luv roxie ]
CD-R's are the ones to use for music/audio. I think those are the only ones that work. ]
There is no difference between the black CDs and the "music" CDs. The "music" CDs are more expensive, just because of the label, but you can still use the blank CDs. So yes, it's just all marketing and there is no difference between these CDs.
