my friends always make fun of me and call me a ditz i dont like it but i kinda have to deal. One of my best friends said she thinks shes only friends with me because it makes her feel smart. Should i take that personaly? How can i change i dont liek to be ditsy.

Yes you should take it personally you dont need them to make you fell so down. get some new friends and ditch them thats just mean what they have done and said.

yea my friends do that to me to. i mean i know there only kidding but it still kinda gets to me. try to think what about what you say before you say it. like i totally never think things through and then ill say something that sounds really stupid but actually im pretty smart it just doesnt show off. im shur there kidding. try to confront them. or just tell them to cut down on all the blonde jokes.

Well I'm not sure that you understand what ditsy really is. Being ditsy doesn't mean your lacking in intellect, it means that you can sometimes do stupid things like not realize the obvious or just plain being goofy.
I can relate to you here cuz my friends call me ditsy all the time. I don't take it personally cuz I'm a really smart girl that gets pretty good grades, I'm just overly goofy without realizing it.
If your friends make fun of you and make you feel stupid like that, drop her. She's just using you as a prop to make her look good if she's saying bullshit like that. Tell me, is that something a true friend would do? Hell no! Sounds more like something an enemy would do.

well i mean maybe they didnt mean that personally.... but you never know ... i think that the next time you see them you should sit down with them and tell them how you really feel about this you never know maybe they dont know you feel this way.... this is a good idea and then you can tell them that it hurt you so then you can work things out... hope i helped. Well it matters if you should take it personally. If shes is saying like she is trying to be mean then i would take this personally but if she laughs about it dont. she is probably just trying to be funny...And just an idea to not be called ditz just try actin smart around them(not nerdy though) cause there probably doing that cause you have said really dumb questions...! You definitely shouldn't take it personally. Me and my friends say that kind of stuff all the time; and we don't cry about it. Maybe just make a joke about her like that so ya'll are even. If she gets mad at you then just do away with her.

Thats messed-up about your friend! Anyways, my best friend is really ditsy (i love her though, lol). I dont think you should take it personally because 1) If they dont like your personalily, its their lose. You can do better then them. And 2) "Ditsy" people are usually REALLY sweet and kind and cares about other people so in a way, being "ditsy" is a good way to show the world who you really are. Dont let other people knock you down for it. To change it though...? I dont think you should, we are all who we are and if that includes acting stupid somtimes, i'd take it.

Wow I definetly feel the same way! I take it personally but I somehow brush it off. But it still hurts. To change being less ditzy, just think before you say something. If you know what you're going to say is wrong or sounds dumb, then don't say it. When you ace a test, show it off to your friends. Prove to them you're not dumb and there is so much more to you!
