i want to re dedicate my self to the lord but i need helping makeing my way up becoming a better christian...i have tried to read the bible but i need an easier way to understand...can anyone help me

Be nicer to people and when someone is sat on there own go talk to them and share stuff be there for your friends when they need you. Just regular stuff to do dont do anything hurtful and dont pick on anyone because thats not what been a christian is about. You could go to mass more often and do things to help the church give money to charity, just odd little things help your parents wash up and clean the house.

Omg thats AWESOME your seeking for help and wanting to get closer to the lord. I admire you for that bc i no its hard. Um have u heard of the new bible thats like a magazine format, and made for teens? its called Revolve. You may want to check that out. Im just like you, the bible is complicated and i think Revolve is a great book. Its made for our level and gives you the basics and is made for us to understand better! Well obviousely have you tried going to church?If your having a hard time understanding then I think church is the best place to go or why don't you surround yourself with christian people and then read with them and ask question there is no harm in asking question.When you want to get closer to the Lord it sometimes take a while but if your dedicated to it you will catch on sooner and find yourself making the right desicions.Good luck i hope i helped.

NIV teen study bible! or life application bible. they're both awesome!!!! new living translation and NIV are the easiest to understand for me. but you might like something different!!

A teen study bible..what they do is break have what the bible says, and then translates into a way that teenagers understand..

Well, I think that's great and I really want to help. I'm not going to go all "sweaty double-chinned southern-accent preacher" on you, but I will tell you this:
1) Church. This doesn't mean you have to go to church to be a Christian, it just means... Well, church can be a big help, especially when you can worship with groups of people just like you.
2) Try the New King James Version Bible; it's really easy to understand and gives plenty of explanations at the bottem of each page.
3) Prayer. Nothing works better than that.

i went through the same thing i know just what you mean.. i have always gone to church but when i got into highschool i really needed some guidence towards the right path that God has for everyone.. reading straight out of the Bible didn't help me very much.. I got into my churches bible study that went over the bible and i got to talk about it and what it ment to me and it really helped me understand Gods word.. if you dont have bible study at your church i encourage you to go one at a local church that way you can learn more and meet alot of people who might be having the same problem you are having.. hope all goes well! <3
