I think trance and techno songs are good to workout too. The beat is fast and it makes you want to get up and dance! Some good deejays are Dj Epic, Dj Mystik, Dj Tiesto, Dj Sammy, etc. The songs on the DDR game are also pretty good!

Avril Lavigne is definitely awesome to workout to..I'm not a big fan of her, but I listen to her right before a big race and it gets me motivated..try either sappy or happy fast beat music..big motivator there..

just basically songs with like a good active beat, i heard that it keeps you active and awake while you are working out ! i do the same thing, usually tends to work lol !
