im sad
my dad is in the navy, so 4 like 2 or 1 more year he'll be stationed in bahrain.
my mom 1 time answered his phone when he was here visitin and out golfin.it was a womans voice. and then again when she text messaged him.
im worried,and my mom has been cryin every now and then. i need desperate help. im so sad, i always feel like cryin and feel like goin goth.

Maybe you and your mom are expecting the worst when it could be just a friend or something! Definetely be up front with him and ask him what exactly he's been up to! If it ends up that he was cheating on your mom, there's nothing that can really relieve your pain except for accepting it and moving on. That's what life is all about: Dealing.

Okay, what the heck does going goth have to do with anything??? Do you mean becoming a depressed idiot that feels that they need to cut themself and contemplate suicide? I have lots of gothic friends, it's a religion. You don't go goth because you think that your father is cheating on your mother. Even if he is cheating, you don't automatically go goth. Gothic people don't just wear black, and not all gothic people are depressed psychopaths that want to committ suicide.

Just get over it. For all you know this is just someone in the navy with him that didn't even know he was married and now feels extremely stupid. Or maybe it was his commanding officer, or maybe it was a girl he was cheating with. Don't overreact until you know something. Yeah, it would suck if your dad was cheating, but without proof (and I don't mean a phone call or texr message) then you have nothing on him.

when your sad you dont just turn goth. do you think that when people get sad they say "oh im depressed ill just turn goth, lets not try and find a solution or try and make ourselves happy..because turning goth is the only way to handle sadness" its cold so you put on a sweater..your thirsty so you get some water..its almost like you think that the logical thing to do like in these situations is..im sad so ill turn goth. do you know what a goth is? maybe youve just always wanted to experiment with this 'goth' crap and being sad is just your reason to try it. i cant believe you said that..

First off sweetie calm down a bit. Tell your mom everything is okay and you're always here for her to lean on when she wants to cry. You need to talk to your dad about this next time he calls. Ask him what is up with a woman answering the phone and such. Maybe they're just friends, so don't jump to different thoughs. Be there for your mom, don't let her cry. You should take her out sometimes, to a dinner and a movie. It'll help her and you get your mind off things. But next time your dad does call, just ask him about it. That way you'll know for sure what is going on.
