FReNCH_i3aRBiE answered Thursday March 3 2005, 7:26 pm: I used to have no confidence at all but now i'm SUPER-confident. Although i'm not quite sure how i went through the transition. I guess i just starting thinking positively about myself. Whenever i look in the mirror, instead of critisizing myself i tell myself i'm hot and it works. But at least i know that you can change and you can gain confidence in yourself if you really try. [ FReNCH_i3aRBiE's advice column | Ask FReNCH_i3aRBiE A Question ]
TeenageCupid answered Thursday March 3 2005, 7:13 pm: Well, Im a pretty confident person, but it would be hard to teach a person how to become confident. Its more like an instinct:
1- POSITIVE THINKING! => When you do something, you always have to be positive. Dont always think you're going to screw up, that is so not confident.
2- In class, most people are scared their answers are wrong. When the teacher asks a question, just answer it! Its not like a person' life depends on it.
3- Wear confident clothes: I know it sounds weird, but you have to wear outfits that show you are confident.I know they say "you are what you eat". But I think its "you are what you were".
If you're a guy, wear a suit. If you're a girl, wear anything elegant and trendy, not ragged and baggy clothes.
4- Walk the walk: If you want people to look at you and say you're confident, you have to walk confident! Walk shoulders straight, and chin up.
ImHere4u answered Thursday March 3 2005, 6:50 pm: Well, you have to belive in yourself. Never look down on anything about you. When you look in the mirrow, tell yourself your beautiful and when every you get attention from a guy.. take it as a HUGEST compliment. And when anyone ever does compliment you on annnyyyything, remember it. Socialize alot, and have alot of friends.Knowing you have a ton of friends always makes someone feel good. Hmm.. what else.. LOITS of social events !! and keep your schedual occupied =) It makes you feel good too when your always doing things with people.
Karen answered Thursday March 3 2005, 6:39 pm: To become confident, you just need to look on the bright side of things and think positive about yourself and anything else. If you don't think negatively about anything, you will be confident.

It will make you love yourself more. SMILE! If you walk around like you hate yourself, people will think you hate yourself! [ sshelbyy's advice column | Ask sshelbyy A Question ]
