my boyfriend smokes pot and i HATE it...i have really strong feelings about it b.c of certain things from my family // well i want him to stop and he promised me he would, he did it once and i wasnt so mad then he did it at this party that i went to! i dont want him to think im trying to control his life i just dont want to associate with people who do pot and i dont like to see him hurting himself like that...im scared to talk to him about it b.c i dont have enough strenght after everything that happened in my family...well, what can i do - leave your screen name for AIM if possible !

i know how you feel! one of my best friends had a boyfriend that smoked pot, and she asked him to stop. threaten him with your relationship if you need to, show him pictures of what happens to your body when you smoke. Its NOT a pretty picture. my friends boyfriend quit, but soon after he started again and they broke up. if he really loves you then he would please you. its helping him too!!

This sounds like a girl that I know... But anyways... tell him straight up that drugs really effect ur life and that you really cant have that stuff in your life... But tell him that at the same time you dont want to lose him and that he means the world to you.

Tell him why u dont want him to do it tell him your scared and say what happened with your family. Maybe if he cares enough he will consider it. Ill give you a story about my parents friend, he had a great life good children and a great wife. He recently became involved w/ drugs and alcohol. he couldnt get off it he went to counseling but still couldnt. I think his wife left him but im not sure. Anyways soon he became soo lost, he went suicide. Hopefully this wont happen to you i just want to give you some things that might happen. Im sorry this has happened and im glad you reallized this. i hoped i helped.

Sibayakkid... one way of makin him stop is to tell him about the bad things that could happen to you if you smoke pot or anything like that. first of all he can get cancer in his nose,mouth,lungs,and throat. if he was to get it in the throat he would have to have a hole cut in his throat so he could breath. if he doesn't listen to you or even care, you might wanna just leave him. he seems to like pot more than you, and i would chose you anyday even tho idk you. hope i helped
