AIM
why is it sometimes I block ppl on my buddy list and a few minutes later it says they sign on..though it says blocked..i just blocked everyone outta no where..so no one on my buddy list is sign on...and little by little ppl are signing on though when i click INFO it says they're blocked..though i see they are on-line..wtf?

Your buddy list and your blocked users lists are independent of each other.
If you don't want to see when someone else is online, remove them from your buddy list.
If you don't want them to see if your online, put them on your blocked users list.

You can still see if they're online but when you block someone, all it does really is block that person from seeing you online and from accessing your profile. And apparently, it keeps you from accessing their profile. But don't worry, they're still blocked and can not contact you.

AIM has changed a lot lately. I have a bunch of new features I've never had. Are computer AIM thingy never had linking and unlinking screen names, now it does. It might be a new feature. Why don't you try and see if it's in the AIM FAQ, just go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) or google search if that's the wrong website. Or ask the aim people a question. When blocking people it always appeared as they were signed off, and vice versa. But maybe they've changed it so you just can't IM each other. I just checked on my buddy list, and the person I blocked completely appears as off line. I tried looking at her buddy info and it didn't work. It looked like she was off line when looking at my buddy list. There might be something wrong with your computer, or it's a new featture on whatever type of AIM you have. Sorry that this is confusing, but I tried answering it best I could.

Can they I.M. u? If they can i cant help but if they cant then maybe its just the way ur buddy list is or computer. My computer does weird stuff all the time like go on the internet wen i dont even clik the icon for it. My buddy list is weird to sometimes like it will say that ppl sign off but they're still online. Hope I helped BuHbYeZ.

That has been happening to me lately also. I always thought that if you block someone that they appear signed off. I guess AIM has changed and it shows you that they are online but you still can't talk to them.

i never really ever had that problem, but if you dont want to talk online threw IM and you just need to do something important like look something up real quick with out anyone bothering you, maybe you should try putting your away message up so you dont have to worry about blocking then unblocking when you want to talk to them, or just get rid of aim or whatever you have or get rid of your screen name if you dont want to talk just keep the net. alrighty! rate me i hope i helped!
