Stupid teachers
My teachers are really mad cause I miss a lot of school because Im always sick. My mom is a smoker and i always get strep and other respitory illnesses. I always make up the frickin homewrok I miss and I always pass the tests and stuff. Im a pretty good student for a 15 yr old that wud rather make out with Bin Laden then go to school. Today i went to school and went through all of my classes. When I got home my dad told me they wanted me to go to saturday school, a place they send bad kids to make up work like if they dont do their homework. I made up all the work from the last time I was absent, and none of the teachers told me about it today. Im really mad and dont know wut to do. Its for three hours tomorrow and starts at 8 30 am. I recently started a petition to end a class that a lot of people dont need called CAI, I was wondering if that might be a reason why all of a sudden I have to go to that stupid thing. SOrry if it doesnt make any sense lol... i like answering questions much more than asking them.

Talk to you mom. ask her to please either, stop smoking, or only do it outside, away from you. but ask her nicely. and talk to your doctor or school nurse and ask them what things can be done to make your bodys reaction to the smoking less severe.
as for the teachers, just ignor when they're mean, i know tis head, but what they say isn't truse, so many people love you, so it doesnt matter what the mean people say or think..

Who knows what they are plotting...all I can say is try to make the best of it. Sometimes even if you make up work, they insist you attend night school or summer school if you miss too many days. So I would say at least its not summer school.

maybe explaine to one if ur teachers if u have ne nice ones be all oh i always get sick because of my moms smokin n all that other stuff and tell your parents how you make up everything and you will spend more time doin hw and see if thatt works

Wow, that could be a possibility of why they gave you saturday school. We started a petition and our principle didn't like it very much, but we didn't get into too much trouble. I've had saturday school before. At Robinson high school in NC it isn't that bad. Besides that fact that it's 3 hours long at it starts so early in the morning. Just bring enough work. After every hour you get like a 10 minute break (we did) and we were allowed to use cell phones, use the bathroom, talk, do pretty much whatever (though the teacher was one of the nice not strict ones, you might have a mean teacher in charge that only lets you use the restroom) and then te rest of the time we worked. We couldn't have our heads down or anything. If we didn't bring work, they'd assign work. It wasn't as bad as you'd think though. But back to what you were saying, ask an administrator, or your teacher why you recieved it, and if it had anything to do with the petition. In our school if you miss saturday school w/o informing the teacher in charge (or someone in the office) ahead of time then you get suspened for a day or so. I'm not really sure what else you're asking (I also got saturday school for skipping a class though) But umm, I hope I answered your question, sorry if I like didn't answer whatever you were asking, it wasn't too hard to make sense of it, it was just hard finding the question. But if the question was " I was wondering if that might be a reason why all of a sudden I have to go to that stupid thing" then yeah, that could possibly be the reason.
