2. they make pads for thongs. don't ask me how they work, I think the idea is pretty dumb myself.
3. you should not put a tampon in before you start your period, or if your flow is very light.
4. if it hurts going in, your either doing it wrong, or you've somehow managed to still have a full intact hymen. if it hurts coming out, it's not full yet.
5. it's not difficult, but how to insert a tampon differs a little by brand. Read the box.
bigdoone answered Thursday February 17 2005, 7:11 pm: having to deal with life is enough hassle...now tampons? well no sweat hun. dont be afraid, in the tampon box, there should be an advice sheet, make sure you read that.
also try talking to someone who might be going through the same thing, and someone who knows what to do. remember dont be afraid as its a natural thing.

Karen answered Thursday February 17 2005, 3:05 pm: No, using a tampon doesn't hurt and it is comfortable. It's not hard to insert them in you either. You just need to squat down, unwrap the tampon from the package, and put it inside you; simple as that. You need to read the instructions on the box, since it explains how to use a tampon better than how we can. Don't forget to change your tampon every few hours, depending on your flow. If your flow is heavy at first, then I suggest that you use a super tampon or a regular tampon. If you are afraid that you might leak, use a panty liner, since you can't see them through your clothing. Hope I helped :)

Zoinatrobe answered Thursday February 17 2005, 2:24 pm: You can buy special sanitary pads for wearing in thongs. I strongly advise you to stay away from tampons till you are older. If you can't find the pads for wearing in thongs, you can get starters tampons. Hope I helped,
