pinkiesweetie2121 answered Wednesday February 16 2005, 8:49 pm: your family won't want you to give your own money, so, you should do your best to not spend a lot of money and be super extra nice!! if you want to give money then you should talk to them about it and see if they really want money, i bet that they dont. so if you have siblings, help out with them, be good, do your homework ontime, get good grades, dont give them anything to worry about other than the money. for your spring shopping, go shopping with your friend that way you can buy things on your own, if you want to! that is about as good of advice as i can give you....come get more advice from me...pinkiesweetie2121 [ pinkiesweetie2121's advice column | Ask pinkiesweetie2121 A Question ]

Karen answered Wednesday February 16 2005, 6:40 pm: If you want to help them out, try babysitting your neighbors or do work outside of your house such as shoveling people's driveways and washing their cars, when it is spring. Since you are 13 years old, you really can't get a job so you are just stuck doing work around your neighborhood. Hope I helped :)

Mksangel1316 answered Wednesday February 16 2005, 6:39 pm: I was in that situation once. Your a little young to find a job, .. but as the others said, baby sitting, house sitting, dog walking, house cleaning, mowing lawns, helping the elderly, etc. They all make money. Post a sign saying you do odds and ends, and chances are a elderly person that can't do everything anymore will call you.
SugaHigh answered Wednesday February 16 2005, 6:05 pm: As for helpin them out... i think thats really sweet. You could save up change you find ont he ground, or money you get for birthdays and stuff. You could hold a mini-garage sale and sell sum stuff you dont need anymore. You could also get a job. Theres not anything you can really do until you're 14 and get the special sheet ur parents and teacher or something has to sign. But you could baby sit. You need to take the course, which costs 15 dollars to do at a Red cross for a few hours on a Saturday, and then baby sit for sum good money. Or you could go to a Coconuts store and sell all your old CDs.
FunnyCide answered Wednesday February 16 2005, 6:03 pm: Try babysitting and dogstitting/walking/washing. There aren't many things you can do because you're young, but those things are good. Just make little flyiers about having a babysitting service or a pet walking service, including name, number, and hours you can work. Good luck!!
