hes a really good person but...
17-f so i have this really good friend...a guy...and we've been friends for three years. I love spending time with him because hes just about the funniest person i know. We have a lot in common too and now since we've been friends for so long he knows me really well. Anyways for a while now im beginning to think that he likes me. I dont like him that way. How do i tell him that i dont like him without actually doing it. And if i need to tell him outright...how do i do that without hurting him?

You THINK that he liks you... I don't think you should say anything until you know for sure. You don't want to look weird either. What you should do to make it clear that you do not like him as anything more than a friend is be aware of how you act with him... you might be flirting without even realizing it. Start giving him as well as yourself some space... introduce him to a girl... You know, that type of hints. I'm not saying to be a bitch... just be a friend. No more, no less.

Well, just tell him that you can only consider him as a brother, or really good friend because of how long you have known him. It can work either way. He should be able to understand this.

Thats hard, but i gues you could just like talk about another guy ure into or something so he kno's that your not inertered in him or something, dont like tell him right up.. i think you should just hint other things, cus the last thing you want to do is loose the freindship all together

I think you should give him a chance if he really does like you because it sounds like you guys probably have a lot in common and stuff since you are good friends, but if you really don't want to then if he ends up telling you he likes you just tell him that you don't feel the same way and you just want to be his friend. and stay his friend. hope i helped **x0x0

I think you should just see if he says that he likes you.. you should really give him a chance b/c who knows you might end up liking him and would wanna be together

If he comes straight and asks you out or even says taht he likes you just give him a chance. You never know. This guy could be your future soulmate. If the first date doesn't work out then tell him that your sorry and it just isn't working out that well as a couple and i liked it better as friends.

don't tell him straight out unless he tells you himself that he likes you. but how you can tell him without actually saying it: just talk about a guy you like, and say something like "gosh, i would really like to date him. there is no one else i would rather be with" or something you know, just go on about how great he is and how you wanna be with him(the other guy). if he does tell you straight out, then just say "i'm really sorry, you are a great friend, and i don't wanna lose you, but i just feel like that's the only thing we can be." i hope i was a help!
