I go to a catholic school and we are supposed to do Confession on friday and i dont have a clue what to do...well i know what to do, i just dont know what to say? can anyone help?
jamziix16 answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 11:21 pm: ask your teacher ! i'm sure she'll help you. i'm catholic. you just tell them everything you need to confess about, unless theres stuff you don't want the priest to know about. i think he asks you how long it's been since your last confession, and when your done confessing, he says a prayer, and you do the sign of the cross n say amen. that's what i do! hope that helped =) [ jamziix16's advice column | Ask jamziix16 A Question ]
natalie04 answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 10:01 pm: you go in and say, "forgive me father, for i have sinned, it has been days/weeks/years since my last confession" and then like if you have lied or swore or back talked your parents yayaya you tell him then he gives you pennance, like 4 Hail Marys or 3 Our Fathers that kinda thing! hope i helped
Karen answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 9:47 pm: Before you confess, you say: "Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. It has been (how many weeks or months) since my last Confession." Then you just tell the priest your sins. Hope I helped :)
