i am in 8th grade. and i am not doing VERy good in school. on my report card i got 2 F's! my mom is taking my phone, comp. after school act. away from me if i dnt get that up! what should i do??!!!

Woah! 2 F's?! Dang! Anyway, I think you should really get your study up. I mean, study more, look over your work, and ask your teachers for help if its absoloutely nessicary (I bet I spelled that word wrong, lol). Anyway, I hope you get your grades up ;]

Make limits for yourself, just spend an hour doing homework with no distractions, like tv or music you always sing along to. And then take a small break. And go back to work. It's a pain in the ass, but it pays off, long run.

You should use any free time to study. Try and stay after school for extra help, and ask friends to help you. I think that you should stay after school or get a tutor. I used to have three F'sbut I stayed after school and got caught up and I got help from my teachers. I have an A, B's, C's, and D+'s, (I know not the best grades, but better than F's). I hope you get what you want back.

Well, you really can't do anything about how your mom is taking away things, unless you try to show her that you are doing better in school. In the classes that you are getting bad grades in, talk to those teachers and ask them to write a weekly note, stating that you are improving or showing that you are. My friend had the same problem as you and she did what I just mentioned and her mom just grounded her until she got a good grade on her next progress report. If you don't want to do what I just told you, then just try to get better grades and study in front of your mom. Hope I helped :)

Ok, look,your not dumb. i am the same way. If you have friends in your class that you talk to alot in class, than you probably should move away from them. And you should study every chance you get. And if you dont do your homework you should! It counts a lot as your grade!
