my best friend is the one i love. it is so hard for me to go near him knowing he doesn't love me. is it because my age? were 2 years younger? we go over each other's house all the time...and all we do is LAUGH! and when ever i tell my other friend's about it they tell me i should just ask him out. should i? or should i wait a little bit longer till we a bit closer? please help

You sound pretty close. Make sure he doesn't have a crush on anyone else before you put yourself out there, though.
