I was wonderin if you knew any software to download music for free cause we tried to pay for it before it was only supposed to be 2 dollars a month and they charged us 4,754 dollars so i wanted to know if there was a good free one besides kazaa and winmx

First I'd like to offer my condolences to you for using kazaa.

LimeWire (www.limewire.com) is the absolute best file-sharing program on the internet. It doesn't come bundled with any spyware (*cough* Kazaa) and has an AWESOME song selection.

The only other software that lets you download music besides Kazaa and WinMX is Ares ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)). It's pretty good and I know people who use it that like it. Hope I helped :)

I have in the past used Kazaa, eDonkey, iSwipe, bittorrent, and Limewire, and I'm trying Ares right now. I, personally, recommend LimeWire for individual songs and BitTorrent for albums. Ares looks all right for popular files, but doesn't do so well finding rare ones.

It doesn't give you any viruses directly from the site, and it's completely free. I use it all the time. The only drawback is that sometimes it doesn't have the songs that you're looking for.
