My friend is mad at me. The details don't really matter but my main problem is I think she's going to tell my social studies teacher that I didn't help with other project. That is not true but she can be a real bitch sometimes and it's not under her to do something like that. I helped her find most of the information and pick out different things for our project I just couldn't put it together. How can I keep her from telling my teacher that I didn't help? Oh I don't really care if she's mad at me because she's a bad friend anyway. (link)

My bf lives out of state and he is coming to see me for valentines day. i am taking him dancing and i already have this very cute dress. I tried to scrunch my hair... which is what i want to do for valentines day but my hair wont stay. It is naturally straight and wont hold a curl no matter what. I have tried hairspray, gel and mousse. any ideas on how to get my hair to hold without getting a perm or going to a salon? Any particular products that work for you? I really want to scrunch my hair but it isnt holding. It will hold for about 1 minute then it will straighten back out.

Anything you've done in Britain for A&O-Level preparation will more than prepare you for the SAT. Remember that the US education system is one of the worst in the Western industrialized world. Any basic SAT prep book will do just fine.

I purchased a pair of jeans off ebay on February 19, 2005. When they arrived, I was dissatisfied with them and requested a refund. On March 6, the person emailed me back saying they recieved the jeans and would send me a refund the next morning. After a week later, I emailed them back asking where the refund was. They said they never recieved the jeans. I emailed back saying I did send them the jeans. Today, I got an email from ebay saying I never sent payment! How is this possible if I recieved the jeans and requested a refund??? It's almost a month since I purchased these jeans and the refund isn't here! What do I do? (link)

How do I get kids to show up for debate practice, or to take chess practice more seriously?
Chess isn't all fun and games if you want to get good. And it's frustrating to go to tournaments and lose all the time, so I'd think they'd want to get better. Study. Too much like schoolwork.
At least they're showing up for chess practice. I'm getting almost nobody to debate practice. And this was their idea, too.

LimeWire (www.limewire.com) is the absolute best file-sharing program on the internet. It doesn't come bundled with any spyware (*cough* Kazaa) and has an AWESOME song selection.

I have a problem with spyware. I turn on my computer and instead of my regular background it has this thing that says "Warning spyware.." blah blah blah. And you know on the bottom of your screen theres icons you can click, well its there too. It's making me mad...I have tried un-installing anything that it might be in my add/remove programs. Thats not doing anything. I'm hoping someone who knows a lot of computers could help me out. How do I get rid of this? And getting a spyware-removal program wont work, it seems to make it worse. i was wondering, why are there so many groups in skool? like preps, goths, punks, metalheads, populars, secondary populars, loners, gunks(a mix of punks and goths), and just "others". it all just creates mayhem, like a popular cant go out with a goth, or they will loose all their friends. i think it is so stupid. can you explain to me why people must insist on putting people in different catigories? does it really matter? Has it ever occured to anyone that these groups might arise from people with similar interests hanging out together? I mean, if there's this group of kids who like music that you can't stand, and another group who likes all the music that you love, who would you gravitate towards? It's just a natural instinct to be attracted to things you like. It's human nature, and thats just the way society at large arranges itself. And just as a side note, I think it's ironic that another advice-giver-type-person responded "Labels suck!" and her screen name was "PUNKrockPrincess."
