i love to swim, and i am pretty good at. ive swum (?) on a summer team for 3 years and did really well. but its hard to like get out of the water and walk away and stuff cuz im kinda fat and i feel so self conscieous. i have friends on the team so its not like i am alone. but ive offered to swim on a team called seaback (auditions only/best of the best) but i dont know any one there. i dont know if should say yes or no.

It sounds like your good so you shouldn't let this oppurtunity pass you by just because you're afraid of people might say about your weight. I'm pretty sure you'll make friends with the people on the team,so i think you should do it. [ xASH's advice column | Ask xASH A Question ]

By summer you should be slimmer. About seaback, do what makes you happy and if swimming makes happy, then try it, if dont like you can always quit.
