I disagree with JadedinNowhere.... at most the schools I've been to.. (I'm moved quite a bit) usually the popular people are athletic and get good grades. For example my boyfriend is very popular... he plays football and baseball and gets basically all A's. It's the same with all my other friends. And in at my other schools it was the same way, all the "popular" kids were in sports and the more advanced classes at school like English 10 honors, Pysics, and alebra 2.

you need to be reallllly outgoing.. dont be shy to go up and just start talking to people.. lol.. thats hhow i made most of mai friends.. but.. like.. the one thyng that like.. EVERYONE hates.. is when people try too hard to fit in.. ommgggooshh.. i kno thys one chik who tries so hard.. and shes.. just.. really annoying.. so.. dont be desperate.. but.. just be nice to peoplee... and have fun with whatever your doing! :)

i think that you cant really "become" popular. i think it happens when your little and just start school. it you make tons of friends then you'll probably become popular. for now you could just be the best person you can be.

Why would you want to be popular? Ok first.. being popular is not everything, infact, most popular people will be pumping the nerds, geeks, and punks gas someday. You don't want to be one of them, one of the many and one of the generic. Be different, and you will probably find a click that you can hang out with. If you have any talents, music, art.. math? Anything that you can associate yourself with would probably help you make a few friends. And lastly, try and be a little more outgoing.. I'm not asking you to jump up and down for attention and tackle people to the ground.. but just go up to someone that maybe is alone.. they are probably pretty cool and someone that could use a friend to. Friends aren't about quantity, they're about quality.

You know, it's funny. I always wanted to be popular when I was in high school and never thought I was. I came to find out later that I was more popular than I ever thought I was. The only thing I can really tell you is that you should always be yourself and be genuine. Be kind and ready to listen to others. Don't always feel you have to offer advice but do offer a shoulder to cry or an ear to listen. Parties are not always the thing to go to or have. Cozying up to the "popular" crowd can sometimes get you into trouble. Why do you think they are popular anyway? Do they do drugs or alcohol or sex or are they jocks or cheerleaders? Personally, I think the best types of popular people are the ones in high school who shine in special ways, like studies or talents (music or theatre) and are kind and don't backstab.

Be mice to every one. Help them out when they need help. Once people start seeing your rely nice youll get more and more friends; in addition, say compliments, and invite people over! Inviting people over is the key!

I think that popularity comes natural or something I dont know because i've never been popular but I would say just hang out with the popular people and if you end up becomeing good friends with them then you would be popular right along with them, just try becomeing friends with all the popular kids and i'm sure that will work. popular is just something that grows on to you. people look at you as a trend setter and a role model. personally i dont look at people that way. i just like people who are considered "popular" or a "prep" because of the fact that they arent stuck up or think their better than everyone else. so. yeah i hope that answeres your ?.
