If you are truly and completly in love, and you are positive that you are with your soulmate and the person that you want to be with for the rest of your life. Then yes, I think you are old enough. But, to be married legally you need the approval of both sets of parents. Of course, you and your boyfreind could have your own private ceremony, with your parents or not, and give each other vows and rings. You could even get real vows that a preist or rabbi would say off-line to read or have read. Good Luck with your decision, and your future husband!!

I think that if you are thirteen then yes, you are to young to be married. You need to do so many more things. Like finish high school at least. Yet, the person may be really special (as you say). And if that is the case, then i suppose you could be engaged to that person. And that would be fine to do until you really were ready to get married. Besides, I don't think you could legally get married at that age with out you parents consent.

Best wishes,
Ann

First your 13 why do you want to get married?? In all states you must be 18 without parental consent. Every state differs on what age you must be to marry with parental consent. Trust me wait another 10 year because there is no point in getting married now. Your parents are going to laugh at you if you ask them to consent

I believe it's illegal anywhere to get married at 13 without a parents consent. There are one or two states that you can get married in with a parents consent at 13, BUT only if you're a girl. Guys have to be at least 14 and it still has to be with a parents consent.

Without parent consent, you have to be 18. Even with parent consent, I believe (not completely sure) you have to be 16. I'm not going to lecture to you, I answered your question.

Hope I helped, Redlion.

Are you wanting to know legally or illegally? I guess you could go somewhere and do it but you legally have to be 18 to get married. I dont know if you would officially be written down as married if you did it any early. so not till 18

I'm not sure, you probably could but your parents wouldn't agree to that most likely! And ethically its too young. What you want now is not always want you want later on in life. If you feel ready to get married, then you can most definatly wait for that time to come. If you are worried about braking up, then for sure you are not ready to get married! Best of luck to you. ♥
