how do i become popular and friends with the popular girls
I am 14 and a freshen in high school. I live in a small town where girls have been friends since they first started school and they dont really like to hang out with anybody but their crew. The popular girls share a lot of the same interests as I do and I really want to become friends with them but they seem as if they could care less. Most guys say I am wicked hot and thats what I though it took to become popular.I want to know how to become close friends with the popular girls also want to know how to become popular.

The same thing happened when I started middle school in this small town. Everyone had been friends since kindergarten & didn't really care about new people coming in. Of course, the people I hang out with share the same interests as they do but I'm not really sure there's a whole lot you can do about it. I guess just start up a conversation with one of the popular girls about something you both have in common. But being popular isn't everything, just a social status.

First off. Dont worry about "becoming popular" Worry about being yourself! If they share a lot of the same interests as you, then it shouldn't be that hard. Just strick up a convo with them or something. But focusing on becoming popular will just mess with your head. Think about it. Who judges to see if people are popular anyway. Just people. They are all just people.
I use to worry about that to. And im just now kinda finding out that I am. It wasn't like I was trying. I just developed a lot of friends. It all starts with a convo!

Look being popular isnt everything its better to be yourself and be the true you. But if you really want to be "popular" then if you have class with one of them start having convos with her and after a few days or a week or so, go up to her while she is hanging with her "popular" friends and be like "hey whats up". Hopefully she will be like "Hey girl! hey this is _______ blah blah blah blah" or something like that.

ok, try this...if you ever have to have a partner for a project for a class...try asking one of the people that u want to be firends with. While you do the project, try talking about other stuff as well. Just start a conversation. Just to let you know, it is not all that craked up to be, being popular.It is always nice to always have those few close friends though. But if it is what you want.... Good luck to ya.

wow. this is exactly what i felt like this year. I wanted to be friends with all the popular guys and gurls. So i worked my way up. become friends with anyone. they know ppl. so they will introduce you to others. and eventually you will be at the top. it was hard for me at first but now i have LOADS of friends. about the guys: try not to "steal" anyone one from anyone. just lay low until you get to the top. it worked for me.

Better question, why do you want to be "popular"? If they don't already like you and accept you for who you are, why would you want to do something to make them like you? You'll see, as soon as you get out of high school their popularity doesn't me a thing out in the real world... I'm sorry, I can't tell you how to become "popular" all I can do is suggest you learn to appreciate what you already have. Good luck.
