guys please answer!!
i'm 13/f and i skateboard but like no other s in my school do... besides like this 6th grader, but thats it. and i wear "punk" cloths i guess, like skateboarding shoes and element shirts and hoodies and dickies skateboarding pants, but idk if thats like a turn off for guys that skateboard cuse thats kinda how they dress... i'm not like a tom-boy, god no, but i feel kind of weird around guys that are wearing the same stuff as me, if u know what i mean. help please!! thanks so much <33

Well I know some guy friends of mine who'd prefer a skater girl rather then a girly girl which is what I am.. and i dont take it offensivly cuz i've dated some of the guys that said they'd prefer a skater girl they just like doing that so you 2 would always have something to do and to teach eachother. So i am doubting that its a turn off for guys. Maybe some but not all. I mean maybe you dont always have to dress like that. If you go to Pac sun or Almost famous they have some cute punk girl stuff. I don't think it's a turnoff, it a guy that skateboards sees you in those clothes he probably thinks you're awesome for it. Not all guys like the preppy all pink clothes, so it's probably a nice change to see someone like you. I bet a ton of guys find it cool, so don't worry about it.

I don't mean they ignore you now, but if you switch it up they have an instant conversation starter. Be comfortable with yourself, and others will be comfortable with you.

hey i skate bord and its cool if you weir cloths like that (i dont because i cant afford them) but you dont half to just do what you do and show them that your one of them and hey they will get to know you just remember skatebordings a very friendly sport and if u just talk to the guys they will talk back so dont worrie about wearing what they weair just do what you whant skatebording is about being free to do what you whant to

so? you will find the right guy for you when God thinks it is right.although i dont skateboard, i am still kinda "out there" like you describe yourself. dont worry about what the other people think about you, and how you dress. thats not cool for them to judge you and say that you are tomboy or whatever because you wear "guys" clothes. i would, but my mom has gotten weird about it. i used to only shop in the guys departments at stores cause i woulnt wear what they had in the girls departments. my mom is kinda wary about that though. BUT.... anyway, i dont claim to be an expert on love lifes or relationships. my love life has but few people in it: God, my mare, and my friends. in that order. LOL ;D i dont have a boyfriend, i have never had one. but, if you have friends that care about you, dont worry. live life the way you are, if God is happy with you, than dont fret. one day your prince will come, before then, it is just wasted effort and energy. dont try to change the way you dress or act or think (unless that is a bad way of thinking, dressing or acting...) because there will be this guy one day that absouloutly loves you the way you are. skateboard and hoodies and all.

Lots of girls are like that at my school one of my friends is and most guys dont find it a turn off hell no guys really do at all. guys basicly just look at how pretty you are, how big your boobs are, how big your butt is, how skinny you are. etc. [guys can be jerks] the nice guys like you for you.
