I'm 5'7", and under 100lbs - unrealistically skinny, but unfortunately definite. The only problem is that my stomach is not as flat as it could be, any tips on gaining weight and stomach flattening?
LoLo2454 answered Thursday December 16 2004, 8:05 am: CRUNCHES CRUNCHES CRUNCHES!!! I do crunches all the time and it is working so well for me. That way you are gaing muscle instead of just loosing MORE fat. Leave a message in my inbox if you want to know some great way to loose the fat. There are different types of crunches for different parts of your stomach. So leave a message if you want to know what they are.

As for gaining weight, don't worry to much about that, just eat sensibly. Go see your doctor, and he'll be able to tell you if you are underweight for your height and build, and whether you have anything to worry about. Other people answering may say to do crunches or the like (this is typical advice on this site), but keep in mind thats just a popular myth. What I would recommend is to go to the gym and start a weight training program. Ask for a workout routine designed to help you gain weight. Dont worry about "bulking up", it doesnt happen overnight (plus its almost impossible if you are female) and you can control your progress. It is very likely that you will prefer your look once you get some definition. Finally, some abdominal muscles might tighten the area up making it look flatter.
