It might not be you. It could be the way your body is built. YOu can wear clothes that show yourself off! Or just keep exercising!!! It will come off sooner or later!

I see two issues here.

First, it sounds like you need reassurance that your normal and doing the right thing. I don't have enough information on your diet plan and exercise schedule to be sure of that. Be aware that if you cut back your calories too far, it will be harder to loose weight because your body will think your starving and hold on even tighter. If you want more tips on creating a healthy diet, let me know and I'll give you some links and summaries. I do know that these are common "trouble spots" for everyone. Many people find that they have a great deal of difficulty getting rid of their "love handles". It's not an illness, it's because we seldom move in such a way to tone those muscle areas.

Second, it sounds like you would like advice on what exercises you can do to tone those areas. Keep in mind that to loose fat quickly, you need to do aerobic exercise (running, aerobics, swimming, anything that gets you breathing hard and your heart rate up). To look like you've lost those final little bit, you also need to tone the muscles in the area. You want to tone your abdominal muscles and your obliques. Abdominal muscles are toned with exercises like leg lifts and crunches. Obliques are toned with exercise that twist, like twisting sit ups, or side bends.

If you need more detailed information on how to properly do those exercises, or you want a larger list of possibilities, let me know and I'll point you towards some web sites that go over such things in more detail (and with pictures/diagrams).

Oh, and a last note: if your female, you will never (healthily) have a flat stomach. There will always be a little patch of fat between your hips and over your uterus. It's just how we're built.

You don't have a tumor, that just might be your body shape. Accept that and wear things that are flattering to your shape. Keep exercising and running and eating healthy. It might just take time for it to come off. Do crunches every night because those help with your stomach the most.

I bet you have made a huge difference already but if you want some more... I'd have to have a look at your diet and what you are actually doing to see what was wrong or find something which you're not doing. I suggest you visit a dietician and they may be able to help you out there.

Also as a woman, our body likes to cling to certain areas of fat, that being around our reproductive organs, like that little pudgy bit on the bottom of the stomach- thats there to stay and those other areas of fat are much harder to lose then say boob fat but it still can be achieved.

But get this I think you might already have a six pack (doesn't that sound nice) it just doesn't show, which means you have some fat on top of it (whoops) Okay so what you might like to do is step up the cardio activities eg. running, swimming (fav), bike riding etc. Then do the muscle training afterwards. See the muscle training increases the amount of blood flowing through and builds the muscles but cardio is more focused on using up energy and fat- which we want. Don't focus on one or the other do a bit of both.

Don't ever give up you can lose the weight, with perserverance.
