PleaseHelpMe answered Thursday December 9 2004, 2:50 am: I do the same thing too. It's hard to stop. But an eassier way is to get fake nails on. The ones that last for 4 months or something like that. That way they'll grow out longer, and you might get out of the habbit of ripping them. If you rip the cuticles, I sometimes would put clear nail polish over them, as stupid as that sounds, and it would stop me from picking at them for a while.
