zapreth answered Friday December 3 2004, 6:25 pm: Wash and keep it as dry as possible. Use A&D ointment (found in the baby care section) to reduce the irritation and to keep the area protected. If it isn't better in a few days or gets worse, go to your gyno. It sounds like you just have some irritation or a tiny rip (no big deal). Just pay attention to it. Good luck. cuddlynn answered Friday December 3 2004, 6:01 pm: Call your doctor and make an appointment to have him check it out. It could just be irritation from your laundry detergent on your underwear that is irritating your skin, or it could be a skin infection. The doctor would be able to prescribe something for you to ease the burning and stop the bleeding. [ cuddlynn's advice column | Ask cuddlynn A Question ]
Solaris answered Friday December 3 2004, 6:00 pm: It could be many things...Rough toilet paper as someone said, an infection....Or if its been humid the constant rubbing of the skin down there could have irrated it. I would wait a day or two to see if it goes away, and if it doesnt, I would go see a doctor of somesort. You could go to www.discoveryhealth.com and look up something in there.
Miss_Megan answered Friday December 3 2004, 4:22 pm: You know what I know a person whose had that recently and it was like a brush burn from having ruff toilet paper. Or you might have some kind of infection. I'd go to the doctor if it doesn't clear up within the next couple days. [ Miss_Megan's advice column | Ask Miss_Megan A Question ]
