a new room
i'm going to be moving soon and i was wondering if there are any teenagers out there with some good ideas on how to decorate a new bedroom?? you know, something fun yet classy, but not too crazy.

When i re-did my room i painted the walls a color to express me.. lime green! lol anyway.. all of my furniture came from ikea. It's an awesome store and I love the way it looks, it's really modern... just walk around and you'll definitely see some stuff you like!

*omg!! thats so0o cool ur moving well theres this thing i've been wantin to do .. make it (wow i dont know the theme of it ) but its kinda like u paint ur walls like maroon with beige and put like a sun mirror on ur wall which makes it look classy and then get like matchin sheets and candles and curtains to match it, 2!!! well have fun and i hope it looks the way u want it to !!! rate me Gg

try a scene like a beach thing or something. thats wat i did 4 my room + it looks really good. also modren stuff is cool like weird art or somethin. hope i helped!!!

I personally like antique-y stuff. I think it's beautiful! Maybe something like that. But I'd look in magazines.. like PB teen and see what you like. Oh, they have a website too it's like www.pbteen.com or something like that. *it stands for pottery barn teen

My best suggestion is to go to ikea and walk around and look at all the model bedrooms. They have so many awesome looking rooms. also, the potery barn catalog has awesome stuff in it and the pictures give a lot of ideas.

i moved and my room was totally boring. i spiced my room up by painting my room light blue, adding beaded curtains to my closet and taking out my closet doors, i got a fish tank with fish and rainbow stones, a lava lamp, stereo, tv, posters all over my walls and on the back of my closet. i have nothing in my closet except clothes pushed off to the side on hangers and a blow up chair blown up with a soft mushy pink aroma therapy pillow. i have a beanbag chair, mini posters covering my dresser and stars on my cieling. i have no bed frame(just a mattress on the floor)and a full length mirror on the back of my door surrounded by cards with cool designs i have gotten from people. my room is the smallest and coolest room in my house. good luck with your designing & i hope i helped!

paint ur rooms ur favorite color.... get a matching carpet, curtains, & sheets, you'll find lotz of nice colorful stuff at Ikea, & Target... cheQ out my room... the link to my picture trail is in my column...

you can paint it yourself and get creative do difrent colors on every wall or do something like a theme its maily depeneds on you personilty

u shold paint it ur fave color n put up movie posters n get stuff like curtains n lamos n shelves thats the opposite color of ur walls

Hmm, well i have pokeadots in my room, but once i saw in a room that there were all different shapes and they all were different colors and then one solid color behind them. Dont use like baby colors use different colors blues, reds, and others.

it all depends on your personality, but i get a magazine called "PB Teen" which has all sorts of ideas and cool set ups. you can have it sent to you at the potterybarn website! i really recommend it! =] -ask_anything
