Question Posted Wednesday November 17 2004, 10:35 pm
Im 15/f I always feel like I cant breathe deeply enough. I feel like every 5 minutes I am sitting there trying to yawn but I can never get myself to yawn deeply enough and it takes me like 5-10 mins just go get one yawn out. And I probably look pretty stupid too like sitting there in class yawning all the time. I know i dont get enough sleep, but even on the weekends when i get like 11 hours i still have trouble breathing deeply/yawning. It might be stress related too..but i think ive had this problem since i was little. Is this normal? ANy ideas on how to help? thx

When I have concerns of my medical sittuations I do not deem it neccesary to be diagnosed by some random bitch who's boyfriend just dumped them. In fact, crazy as it may seem, I go consult a medical professional. And if you don't think it's that important then ask a school nurse, however they'll just give you a bandaid, they are worthless.
MedicatedSanity answered Thursday November 18 2004, 6:26 pm: if someone in your family or your friends, or you... smokes cigarrettes, cigars, or marijuana... that can be a big problem that is causing this. Sleep at least 7 hours... try yoga!!! It can help relieve stress and help you breathe better. If that doesn't help it... ask your parents to schedule a doctors appointment because it could be mild asthma. [ MedicatedSanity's advice column | Ask MedicatedSanity A Question ]

When your mom was pregnet with you she might have smoke. just see a docter and youll be fine [ Ryan_10's advice column | Ask Ryan_10 A Question ]
xlostangelx answered Thursday November 18 2004, 12:52 pm: the best advice i can have is to go to the doctor. i have problems breathing as well, but i smoke cigarettes. You could have asthma, so make sure to see a doctor about this. it could get worse as you get older, so you'll wanna know exactly what it is.
good luck hunnie .. get back to me if you wanna talk..take care
