ok, this is a really wierd subject but.......
my little sister has a habbit of thinking that our cousins are cute. the ones that we dont get to see that often. she likes our cousin J.R and our cousin Michael. I can't figure out how to get her to stop. I have told her that they are our cousins and its nasty. But she won't listen. She has even told me that she wants to kiss J.R. I mean yea hes a good looking kid (i dont like him...ew!) but hes our cousin so thats just nasty. I have tried explaining the whole cousin thing and she still doesn't understand. Please help.

if she is young she may not want to lisen tell her that u talked to some one and they said that u shouldn't like your cuzin its wrong don't be mean about it or just tell your cuzin to tell her i don't like u in a nice way!

She is just trying out her ways wiht guys...just keep reminding ehr that..no you don't date you cousin..it is against natural law...

hmm... give her the definition of incest... tell her what the consequences are. Like being made of fun of, shunned, looked down upon... tell her it's morally wrong. or at least i think it is... and hmmm... make up bad stuff about him... like he has a girlfriend and he's in love with his gf... or something! Just whatever you do, don't tell your cousin or your aunt... or else when she is old enough to understand how gross it is, they will still think badly of her. Hmm, well actually how you sister is thinking and acting is a pretty natural phase that a bunch of kids go through. I am guessing she is kind of young is she doesn't really understand the whole incest thing. This is just a phase for her though. The best thing you can do in this case would be to remind her one more time only say something like " that's like you and me getting married" haha that;ll be sure to get the point across, and if it still doesn't I suggest for you to stop drawing attention to it and just ignore the whole thing-eventually she'll get bored of this, she'll think clearly, and she'll like guys that aren't in the family. Give it a lil' bit of time. Or, tell your cousin and tell him to tell her he's got a grrreat gf so she'll know she doesn't have a chance, then do the ignoring thing. If you ignore the situation sh'll lose interest in the whole matter because everyone else has. Good luck! :)

I mean, yah I know it sounds wrong and stuff but your gonna have to accept it. She might grow out of it, and she might not. Just bugging her about it more and more is not going to make her listen. Eventually, she might relize what is going on and she might stop. Until then you'll have to deal with it. Just tell her to keep her love obsessions to herself.

ur sister probably doesn't understand that you can't like ur cousins. if she is little like 6 or 7 then its ok she probably will learn fast and not like them anymore. if she is 9 or older then thts bad. u shouldn't worry about it that much just tell ur sister not to tell n e 1 that she likes her cousins. don't worry she'll grow out of it. hopefully. gl

Well my cousin had the same problem. Just he wanted a big family so this may not work 4 her. Anyway i told him that u cant love some1 ur related to (well not in that way atleast) because u cant hav a family and if u do ur kids will be special (mental). OK if she is litle then she'll be fine but if she is older like 12-18 then there is a problem u should tell your parents. But if she is yunger then just try and understand that she is still a little kid and she does not understand what she is talking about.

Well it all depends how old she is. I mean.. its normal for little girls to think that their cousins are cute. I did when i was little but then i got over it. She'll snap out of it soon.

well if she is 6-10 she will do that she will swing out of that stage unless she has pictures of them and kisses them every morning...i would tell your mom she need to get that kind of hel,but i would understand if its an 8 year old or around that age...she should slip out of it soon...
