Okay. here it is. I was raped a few days ago. By my neighbor. He lives like three houses down. We went to a house that my brother broke into, so they could have a cigarette break before going to the gym. Well they brough some alcohol and we started drinking shots of all kinds of stuff. I done atleast a whole bottle of GIN! I was drunk of my ass. We played some games. I wasnt all together. My neighbor who is 16 and is my NJROTC Commanding officer, locked me in a room when i was drunk and raped and he had a condom. (how and why did he have a condom i have no idea) I remember him shovin his dick down my throat when i was on the ground and chocking me. The picked me raped my ass and the detective said i passed out and he raped me in my vaginal area. I was so sad. I went depressed after a while. Almost scuicide but i told my parents. The cops and detective wanted to arrest him. They had SOOOO much evidence its not funny. But the detective went to the state and the state said i wasnt drunk enough and dropped the case. Can you please explain to my why would they do that to me? and isnt that wrong? Now im locked in my house and cant go to school. What should i do?

You need to get a lawyer. It's utterly ridiculous that the state would say you were not drunk enough - you do not have to be drunk to get raped. You could have been stone cold sober and been raped; alcohol has nothing to do with it.
The fact that you were forced into sexual acts is enough that you should be able to press charges.
Aside from all that, I'd get in touch with a local rape counselor. You can find them by calling national rape helplines (do a search on google!) or by looking in your yellow pages. It's imporant that you get help to deal with this - whether charges are pressed against the rapist or not.
YOU ARE THE VICTIM. Why do you have to stay locked in your house? You need to be attending school and getting on with your life, not treated like a criminal. Speak to a therapist and your parents - being isolated at home isn't going to make the situation any easier.

im really sorry for all that has happened to u i dont kno wut i would have done, anywayz u should stand up for urself go to the police and tell them even if u werent drunk it would still be considered rape and that u think and kno that guy should be arrested!

Hun i am so so so sorry about that. That isnt right for a guy to do that. If you were drunk.. hun he just took advantage of you. He needs his dick cut off and they need to throw his ass in jail.. And maybe even kill him. Put him in a life sentence. Do something to him. He shouldnt have dont anything to hurt you like that.
If they have all that evidence.. then they should do something about it.
i think you were ENGOUGH Drunk to hangle that case on their own.They shouldnt just leave the case like they did. That was wrong of them to do that. They are probably just thinkin that if you couldnt handle that on your own then it shouldnt be handled at all. But you know what.. i ll help you in any way i can. Even if you weren't drunk it would still be considered rape! The police has the evidence that proves he did it. Talk to the police and try to convince them to reopen the case. Everybody deserves justice. Talk to your parents also. Let them know you really want to see this guy in jail and they also might be able to help you through it. I understnad what your going through is hard so thats why I belive that this guy should be locked up for good. So yeah, keep talking to the police and try and have your parents help! OK so they said that you passed out and they had evidence that you were raped. There is no reason why they should have dropped the case and that the guy should definatly get put in jail for what he did to you. No one deserves to be raped. Whether you are drunk or not it shouldnt have happen and he violated you therefor the courts shouldnt have dropped the case. Honestly it makes no sense as to why they dropped it. They should have done something about it. I would definatly try to get an appeal or something cause something should have been done about that guy. HOpe I help at least somewhat!! You just have to keep fighting for it. Get together with the cops and detective and have them go to the state again. Explain to them how scared you are to even go outside and how you dont go to school so you dont have to see him. I honestly couldnt tell you why they even dropped the case. The only thing i can say is try and get a court hearing. Go to court and let the judge decide. It may be tough to get a court hearing but you can't give up. It shouldnt matter about how much alcohol you consumed. People get raped all the time, even if they are sober. You should also fight them on that too. The only thing they could say was if you were drunk then you were impaired. They may tell you that you were too drunk to remember that you thought and said it was ok to have sexual intercourse with this person... that you regret doing this on your own free will and now you want to switch your story around and put the blame on him and make him suffer. But it isnt true, you were raped and something needs to be done. So it is a good thing that they said you werent drunk enough because now you have more to fight for. Dont let him get away with what he did. What he did was wrong and he needs to pay for it. So once again sweetie, dont give up. Just keep fighting for it. I hope this helps.
